We are two Harvard Business School-trained operators pursuing a single acquisition. Unlike private equity firms managing dozens of portfolio companies, we bring our full attention — and personal capital — to one business.

When we acquire a business, we move in. We work alongside your team, learn the operation, and take responsibility for its future. There is no absentee ownership, no quick exit, and no financial engineering at the expense of your people or your reputation.

What we're looking for

We're seeking one great business — founder or family-owned, financially strong, and ready for a thoughtful transition.

Revenue

$5M – $30M in annual revenue. We're focused on established businesses with a track record of consistent performance.

Ownership

Family or founder-owned businesses where the owner is seeking a meaningful transition — whether retirement, new ventures, or simply the right steward for the next generation.

Business Model

Recurring or repeatable revenue streams, a defensible market position, and a team in place. We favor businesses with durable customer relationships.

Geography

United States. We're flexible on location and are prepared to relocate to where the business operates.

Industry

We are industry-agnostic with a preference for B2B services, light manufacturing, distribution, and healthcare services. We evaluate each opportunity on its own merits.

Colin Patton

Co-Founder & Partner

Colin is an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School (Class of 2027). Prior to HBS, he spent three years at Salem Capital Management, a $1B+ single-family evergreen investment office in Boston, where he rose to Senior Associate and spearheaded sourcing, modeling, and IC presentations across lower-middle-market buyouts, carve-outs, and co-investments. He led the firm's investment into a niche B2B industrial franchise — now tracking toward a 3.0x return — and cultivated direct relationships with founders of local manufacturing businesses as long-term acquisition targets. Earlier, Colin was an Associate at Secretariat International, preparing financial valuations for high-stakes international arbitration, and a Summer Analyst at Roark Capital Group. He holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia, and serves on the Investment Committee of the YMCA of Greater Boston.

Andrew Hufford

Co-Founder & Partner

Andrew is an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School with a background spanning professional education, impact investing, and organizational development. He previously built and scaled programs at Axcel Learning and led investment analysis as part of HBS's Profit with Purpose initiative. A University of Virginia graduate recognized for academic distinction, Andrew brings deep experience building high-performing teams and sustainable business models.
